To keep things a little normal for a Monday, how about a recap of my food and fitness for last week? Check out yesterday’s post to see more of what I’ve been up to the past week!


Monday – these awesome chickpea veggie burgers + spinach salad


Tuesday – glazed salmon, steamed parmesan broccoli and no-knead crusty bread


Wednesday – potato (for Jacob)/sweet potato (for Hunter and I) hash with sausage + oranges

Thursday – tuna melts on soft wheat bread + fruit


Friday – cheeeeeese night – cheese, sausage, bread and pear – at home date night!

Saturday – food at a friend’s house to watch the UFC fight – fun!


Sunday – carbonara + roasted asparagus


And now a look at my fitness during my 40th week of pregnancy:

Monday – taught body pump – last class for a while!

Tuesday – took Hunter to the park, so some walking and playing

Wednesday – water aerobics + short walk pushing the stroller

Thursday – longer morning stroller walk


Friday – short family stroller walk

Saturday – swam 30 minutes + a 1.5 hour stroller walk (then a nap later, I was beat!)

Sunday – short stroller walk

I’m happy to say I’ve been active every day. This morning I’m off to water aerobics and hopefully at least a short walk later while the rain stays away. I’m thinking maybe walking up and down the stairs when it gets rainy??

What was your favorite workout last week? Definitely swimming for me! I had to force myself to stop after ‘just one more lap’ to get back home.
