You would probably guess that when I shared my 3 months post baby update, Hunter’s would be on the way soon too, huh? Yup you’re right! My little guy’s getting so big now. And really 3 ½ months old now!
Last week he went in for 2 shots (HIB and Prevnar) and had a couple rough days. I’m not sure if he had a fever since I never took his temperature, but he was definitely warmer and pretty sad. We had lots of crying those 2 days. Lots of sleeping during the day too, but he did begin to wake up in the middle of the night to eat again. That was tough on me for sure.
I’m so glad we decided to spread his vaccines out. He’s basically receiving half of them each month, instead of twice as many every two months. I go in more often, but since he had a bit of a reaction to receiving these this time, I’m happy he didn’t get the usual dosage.
At that 3 month shot appointment he weighed 13.2 pounds. Up 1 pound 7 ounces in a month!
Annnyway… Hunter’s been so much fun!
He’s began squaking, like all the time an super loudly. He must have just figured out how to do it and thinks his voice is super cool.
He smiles and laughs so much.
His hands are his favorite chew toy. He’ll fit his whole fist in his mouth then chew and drool all over them.
Drool has definitely increased substantially.
Naps with dad are his favorite naps.
He’s still sleeping through the night, with the exception of the little blurp he went through after his shots and random times he wakes.
His head control is crazy good.
He loves jumping in the jumperoo, looking at himself in the mirror, having books read, bath time and batting at moving object.
I picked up a swim diaper and hope to take him to the pool soon. I think he’s going to love it!
Soon he’ll be 4 months old, which is closer to 6 months than newborn. That’s just madness! Time is going too quickly.

Oh yes – time goes waaaaay too fast! My baby is now 13 months and I really do miss those first 3 months some days, but they just get more and more fun!
Oh my goodness is he so cute!! I don’t know from personal experience, but with my nephew they seem to just get more fun with each month!!
