Hi!

I stumbled upon this blog when trying to figure out how to ween my baby off nursing. Your strategy is similar to what I’m starting to do. I know this was quite a while ago but in reading your posts you said that you never replaced breastmilk with whole milk. I know it’s not a 1:1 deal anyway but was curious what liquids you were providing Hunter? I think my biggest stress is dehydration with Luna. She has had constipation issues for months and is pretty good at drinking water but not great. Mostly plays with her sippy cup. Maybe has 6oz a day. Any thoughts on what worked for Hunter. He seems to be a very healthy thriving baby. Thanks!

Hi Amy! Thanks for your comment and question. I always offer water to my kids, pretty much all throughout the day. Water + the water content in foods (from fruits and veggies) is where they get their hydration from. I hope that is helpful!
