This delicious easy recipe is made in the blender and the perfect recipe to enjoy on a hot summer day!

Refreshing melon mint sorbet! This simple 3 ingredient healthy sorbet recipe without ice cream maker is dairy free, naturally sweetened with honey and uses sweet and juicy melons.

I like to keep my kitchen gadgets pretty minimal, and because of that an ice cream machine has never made the cut to join my kitchen. Luckily, it’s easy to make a frozen dessert without one!

– mini melons – honey – water – fresh mint leaves

ingredients

Dice 1 of the mini melons into cubes. Place the cubed melon on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for a couple of hours, until the fruit is frozen solid.

1

Add the honey and water into a small pot and warm on low heat until the water is warm. When they combine fully, pour the mixture into a jar to cool at room temperature.

2

To make your sorbet, add the frozen chunks into a high speed blender and pulse until the melon is broken down. Turn the blender on and pour ¾ of the honey simple syrup in as the blender runs.

3

Scrape down the sides, add the mint leaves, and turn the blender on again. Add the remaining simple syrup if needed to help the sorbet blend.

4

Pour the sorbet into a shallow pan, loaf pan, or glass freezer-safe container and place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

5

Remove the sorbet from the freezer. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the sorbet out and serve in the mini melon halves. Garnish with minced mint and enjoy this easy healthy sorbet recipe!
