Let's Make Gluten Free Freezer Protein Waffles!

It’s a protein packed breakfast treat that is made with oats and is naturally gluten-free!

The extra protein comes from blended cottage cheese and egg. They are perfect to freeze and reheat for the most important meal of the day.

These healthy protein waffles with become your breakfast BFF! Bonus, the batter is made in the blender – you really can’t simplify breakfast making more!

eggs, cottage cheese, almond milk, melted butter, pure vanilla extract, rolled oats, cinnamon, baking powder, sea salt, coconut oil

ingredients

      Add all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Let your batter sit for at least 10 minutes, or up to overnight before cooking waffles.

        Heat your waffle iron, add a touch of coconut oil to the waffle iron, and pour in the batter.

        Cook until your waffle maker lights up as done (every waffle iron is different). Repeat with the remaining batter.

Freezing steps: Make protein waffles. Let them fully cool. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (without stacking) and freeze until frozen solid.
