Substitutions

Spaghetti squash – A healthy vegetable option to replace the spaghetti squash could be steamed mashed sweet potato or cauliflower rice. Both would pair really well with the buffalo wings flavor.
Chicken breast – Instead of cooking your own chicken, shred a rotisserie chicken, use canned chicken, or cook chicken thighs in a slow cooker all day and then shred. Ground turkey, ground beef, or ground chicken work great here too!
Dried chives – Feel free to use fresh chives, fresh green onions, onion powder, or garlic powder to replace the dried chives.
Avocado oil – You can use extra virgin olive oil, or melted coconut oil instead of avocado oil
Kefir ranch – Use your favorite bottled ranch dressing instead here. You could also swap in blue cheese dressing. You can also opt to use full fat cream cheese, sour cream, blended cottage cheese, or plain greek yogurt and add ranch seasoning into it.
Buffalo sauce – Don’t really like spicy food? Use BBQ sauce as a great option or find a mild or medium buffalo sauce to use (frank’s hot sauce is great!)
