Getting pregnant blessed me in so many ways. The most obvious – this little guy.
Another way? My lactose intolerance went away! The intense stomach pain I used to get when I’d eat ice cream, yogurt and cheese was no fun. And plain old milk was the worst. I guess something switched in my body and everything started working like it should again.
Yogurt was back in my life and being consumed at full force.
You can imagine my excitement when this arrived at the doorstep one day.
Oh I will handle with care.
Inside –> TONS of chobani champions! It was time to share my CHO love with my little guy.
We received four flavors: vanilla chocolate chunk, orange vanilla, very berry and banana honey. Since Hunter’s still under 1 year, I went ahead and claimed the banana honey for me. No honey for the little guy yet. At least that’s what I’m telling myself (maybe I just wanted it….).
Since Hunter can’t really tell me what he thought about them, I will interpret.
Very berry – devoured (means he liked it)
Vanilla chocolate chunks – devoured again (he reaaallllyyy liked it)
Orange vanilla – spit it out (I don’t think he was a big fan) He’d take a bit, but then spit it out. Then he’d proceed to take another bite (thinking it would be different??), then spit it out. The way he’d spit it out was pretty funny – with a big smile and almost like he was blowing raspberries.
Hunter’s cousin Caden was over one day, so we tried to share, but he wouldn’t even try it! Oh well, more vanilla chocolate chunk for Hunter and I.
Unlike Hunter, I can actually talk, so I’ll tell you what I thought about them.
Vanilla chocolate chunk – My favorite! Anything with chocolate is awesome. The chunks are so little you get them in every bite.
Banana honey – Subtle honey, yummy banana flavor. Not like an overripe banana at all, which I do not like.
Very berry – I only got a taste since Hunter ate most of these, but again, good! Not much sweetness which is what I like in my yogurt.
Orange vanilla – I’m with Hunter on this one. Not my favorite, but hear me out. I am not a fan of orange and vanilla together. You know those orange creamsicle? I do not like them one bit. Luckily Jacob does, so he’ll get to have these. I’ll probably see if Hunter likes them in a few weeks too.
Chobani is all about real food. Real ingredients. Real taste. What I liked about the champions actually more than my chobani I buy at Costco is that it’s 1.5% fat. 0% is fine because it’s all they have at Costco (it’s a good price there), but I’d love for them to carry 2%. This girl likes her fats!

I love the plain chobani and their lemon flavored yogurt. I eat it with flaxseed mixed in.
Wahoo for no more lactose intolerance! That is a very happy development! I’ve only tried the chocolate chunk Champions before, but I loooved it! I usually eat plain Greek yogurt, so anything flavored is a real treat.
I know! I was super stoked to eat yogurt happily again.

Apple Cinnamon and Banana chobani are my absolute favorites! Especially as a post-run/workout snack. I love eating them with cereal, granola, or fruit.
My favorite flavor is 0% plain because I like to stir in my own fruit – love blueberries and strawberries!

I love plain Chobani with fresh fruit mixed in
ahhh! Love their yogurts (and so do Kaylin & Josh). We go through at least 12-14 a week. At LEAST. Kaylin eats a full sized Chobani for breakfast every morning. There isn’t a flavor she doesn’t like. Josh really likes the lime and the coconut flips. His favorite regular Chobani is banana strawberry. I like the plain with maple syrup. Enough info ;). We have our launch tomorrow! Tonight was date night- happy weekend
I absolutely LOVE the vanilla chocolate chunk! So much so that I bought the biggest one I could find, but I can rarely find it at the store I shop. I want some!
Favorite yogurt?!? Plain Greek! Fave topping?? Unsweetened cocoa and pb2. Amazing
I love Chobani’s new “bites”, especially the banana caramel!
I like plain yogurt!

my favorite yogurt flavor is chobani’s passionfruit….but i havent been able to find it in awhile 🙁
I typically make my own plain yogurt – super easy, cheap, and I know exactly what’s in it. I love it mixed with fresh fruit and granola. The chocolate chunk one sounds so good! I’m all about chocolate in anything.
How do you make your yogurt Katey?
The first time I made it was in the crockpot, turned out great, but made a lot more than the husband and I will eat in a short amount of time, plus it took longer than I wanted with heating up/cooling times. You can google ‘crockpot yogurt’ and get a million recipes. Now my standard method is this: I have an 2 qt measuring cup (batter bowl?) from Pampered Chef that has a tight fitting lid.
I pour 8 cups – ish of whole milk into the measuring cup and heat it up in the microwave.
I do a few min at a time then stir until my milk is about 180 degrees. I use a candy thermometer.
Then let the milk cool down to about 110 degrees.
(I’ve put the lid on at this point and put the entire thing briefly in ice water for a faster cool-down) I do feel like my yogurt is a bit runnier when I do the ice method.
Once cooled – whisk in a few TB plain yogurt. Make sure it is one with live cultures.
Then make sure the lid is on tight and completely wrap in a beach towel and let sit on the counter for at least eight hours. I’ve done up to twelve hours.
When you open it up you’ll have yogurt! I prefer greek yogurt so I strain it in a thin kitchen towel over a bowl. Then I just dump the whey protein liquid in a smoothie or something.
You can mix honey or pureed fruit or whatever into the yogurt if you want.
I’m hoping this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions!
Awesome, thanks! The plain yogurt with live cultures you add in, does that need to be store bought, or if you already had a batch of plain yogurt you made, could that be used as the addition in?
I love blueberry! Favorite topping, fresh fruit!
Chobani Lemon with Blueberries stirred in is so refreshing!
I love the pineapple Chobani. It tastes like dessert!
Peach is my favorite and I enjoy sliced strawberries!
My favorite Chobani is vanilla but my favorite ever is Greek God’s vanilla honey. I love to top it with granola or some type of cereal.
I usually just top my plain yogurt with honey but I’m so excited for berry season since I think they’ll be amazing additions!
My favorite flavored yogurt is chobani’s vanilla, I love freezing it and having frozen vanilla yogurt! Such a delcious dessert! 🙂

I love my yogurt plain, but also love adding fresh fruit to it such as red grapes, pineapple, or banana slices. These flavors of Champions sound so yummy though!
