Let's Make Banana Custard Oats!

You get everything in one delicious bowl – carbohydrates, protein, and fat.

The sweet banana balances out the egg that cooks into the creamy oatmeal. A kid favorite and soon to be your new favorite!

– old fashioned oats – water – ripe banana – sea salt – vanilla extract – eggs

ingredients

     Into a medium saucepan add the rolled oats, water, banana, sea salt, and vanilla and place over medium heat.

      Cook the oat mixture for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. While the oatmeal cooks, crack eggs into a bowl.

      When the oatmeal is just about done, add the eggs and begin to whisk constantly. Keep whisking over the heat until the oatmeal looks fluffy.

Try it with: peanut butter, almond butter, or any type of nut butter to drizzle on top for some healthy fats, berries, granola, hemp hearts, chia seeds, flax seeds, and more!
