Pancakes From Scratch Recipe

 Kids and adults love the texture and flavor of this easy fluffy pancake recipe.

Ingredients: – almond milk – apple cider vinegar – egg – avocado oil – vanilla extract – whole wheat flour – sugar – baking soda – baking powder – sea salt – fresh berries (optional)

Step 1: In a small bowl combine almond milk and apple cider vinegar.  Let it sit for 5 minutes, then add the egg, oil, and vanilla in and fully mix.

STEP 2: In a separate bowl add the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.  Whisk the dry ingredients until combined, and then pour in the wet ingredients.

STEP 3: Mix until the wet and dry are just combine. A few lumps are okay! Add berries (if using) into the batter.

STEP 4: Pour the pancakes batter on a hot oiled skillet and cook on the first side for 3 minutes, flip, and cook 2-3 more mins. Use all batter.

STEP 5: Enjoy these whole wheat from scratch pancakes with butter, maple syrup, extra berries, or your favorite pancake toppings!
