Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

Made in the slow cooker!

INGREDIENTS: – onion – carrot – celery – garlic – chicken breast – sea salt – pepper – unsalted butter – whole wheat flour – chicken bone broth – coconut milk – baking powder – coconut sugar

Step 1: In the bottom of your crockpot, layer the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic + salt and pepper.

Step 2: Make the roux with butter, flour and broth, and add to the crockpot. Cook on low for 6 hours.

STEP 3: Shred the chicken. Add milk. Make dumplings and add on top of chicken mixture. Cook on high for 1-1.5 hours.

Serve this easy chicken and dumplings recipe with crusty bread and a side salad. ENJOY!
