Better than the store-bought version, and made with ingredients you can fully recognize, my healthy country breakfast sausage recipe is a breakfast staple!
To a large bowl add the ground pork and the sausage seasonings. Mix the pork mixture using your hands until the seasonings are just mixed with the pork. Shape sausage mixture into 6-8 patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage patties and cook for 8 minutes on the first side, and then 5-7 minutes the second, or until the meat is fully cooked through.
If you’re a fan of breakfast sausage seasoning that has a touch of sweetness, feel free to add in 1-2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or brown sugar.
The sweet sausage and savory combo is quite good!
