These chocolate hazelnut almond pulp energy balls are such a delicious treat! What’s my favorite kind of treat? One that is also filled with so much goodness and naturally sweetened. That’s exactly what you’ll find in these brownie like snack balls. Such a fun and delicious way to use up leftover almond pulp!
To make your chocolate hazelnut energy balls, add the hazelnuts to a food processor and pulse into small bits. Remove and set aside.
Next, add the dates and pulse until broken down into small bits.
Add half the saved hazelnuts, the almond pulp, cocoa powder, almond butter, sea salt and optional mini chocolate chips. Pulse until the mixture is combined.
Lastly, using 1 tbsp of the mixture at a time, roll into balls. Then roll the balls in the remaining saved hazelnut mixture. Makes about 2 dozen balls. Store sealed in the fridge.
