Healthy Frozen Yogurt Protein Bites

Peanut butter protein frozen yogurt bites with a chocolate shell are just what you need to keep stocked in your freezer! It’s a healthy snack that’s protein-packed and simple to make. All you need are 5 simple ingredients for the perfect snack for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together over a double boiler or in the microwave. Use a silicone brush to spread the chocolate on the bottom and the sides of a square silicone moldsilicone mini muffin pan, or a silicone ice cube tray. Place in the freezer to freeze (about 1 hour) while you make the yogurt filling.
  • In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, peanut butter, and protein powder together until well mixed. Once the chocolate layer is set, add the yogurt mixture and top with the remaining melted chocolate. Optionally add crushed freeze-dried strawberries, chopped peanuts, or flaky sea salt on top. Place in the freezer for 4-6 more hours to fully freeze.
  • Pop the yogurt protein bites out of the mold, and allow them to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before biting into them and enjoying!
