The Ultimate Green Taco Sauce Recipe

By Heather
My green taco sauce is creamy, tangy, and has just the right amount of spicy. Best of all? It takes less than 10 minutes to make in your own kitchen—no taco truck required.

Ingredients

  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 anaheim pepper
  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Remove stems and seeds (for less heat) or keep some seeds for spice. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender or food processor.
  • If too thick, add a splash of water or more lime juice until smooth. Taste and adjust by adding extra salt, more lime, or another jalapeño, depending on your spice preference.
