Cilantro Lime Carne Asada

INGREDIENTS: – steak – extra virgin olive oil – ancho chili powder – ground cumin – dried oregano – garlic – navel orange – limes – sea salt – black pepper – cilantro (for serving)

Step 1: In a small bowl, add the olive oil, ancho chili powder, cumin, dried oregano, minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, sea salt, and pepper. Stir to combine the wet ingredients together.

STEP 2: Into a large bowl, add the steak and pour the mixture over. Turn the steak a few times to fully coat it, and then allow it to marinade for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.

STEP 3:  Into a crockpot, add the steak and any remaining marinade. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.

STEP 4: Build your carne asada bowl by adding the flavorful beef, cilantro lime brown rice, black beans, pico de gallo, green onions, fresh cilantro, sour cream, and cotija cheese into a bowl.
