Make the freezer beef burgers: In a large bowl add the egg, oat flour, coconut aminos, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine the seasonings.
Add in the ground beef and mix fully until combined.
Divide the burger mixture into 8 equal portions. Using your hands, shape the burgers into a round, thin, and even patty shape. Place patties on a parchment paper (or aluminum foil) lined baking sheet in a single layer. Add a small indentation to the center of each burger. This will help them to keep their shape.
Place in the freezer to let the patties freeze. This will take a few hours.
When the frozen hamburgers are frozen solid, remove them from the sheet and add them to a freezer bag or airtight container. Label and date it, and keep frozen for up to 6 months.
To cook a frozen patty: Remove the number of frozen hamburger patties you’d like to cook. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes on the first side, flip, and cook another 3-5 minutes on the second side, or until the internal reaches 140 degrees F using a meat thermometer for a perfect medium burger. Add a slice of cheese in the last couple of minutes of cooking if you’d like.
Serve with hamburger buns and your favorite burger toppings!
