Step 1: Make the freezer beef burgers: In a large bowl add the egg, oat flour, coconut aminos, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine the seasonings.

Step 3: Divide the burger mixture into 8 equal portions. Using your hands, shape the burgers into a round, thin, and even patty shape. Step 4: Place in the freezer to let the patties freeze. This will take a few hours.
Step 5: When the frozen hamburgers are frozen solid, remove them from the sheet and add them to a freezer bag or airtight container. Label and date it, and keep frozen for up to 6 months.
Step 6: To cook a frozen patty: Remove the number of frozen hamburger patties you’d like to cook. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes on the first side, flip, and cook another 3-5 minutes on the second side, or until the internal reaches 140 degrees F using a meat thermometer for a perfect medium burger. Egg – While there is no exact substitute for the egg, you could swap in 2 tablespoons of milk, or omit the egg. The egg helps to bind together with the oat flour and gives the burger more structure.
Oat flour – Breadcrumbs and panko breadcrumbs are both good options to replace oat flour.
Coconut aminos – Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and barbecue sauce will all add a good amount of flavor to this recipe.
Garlic powder – Garlic granules and fresh garlic will work in this recipe!
Onion powder – Minced green onion is a good alternative for a mild onion flavor.
Ground beef – You can follow these same steps and replace the ground beef with ground turkey, ground chicken, ground lamb, ground bison, or ground pork!
