Chocolate Protein Muffin with Spirulina

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 12 hole muffin tin with paper liners, or silicone liners.
  • In a bowl mash the bananas. Add the eggs, coconut oil and maple syrup. Whisk together.
  • Next, add the almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, spirulina powder, baking powder, baking soda and sea salt. Mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour into muffin tin.
  • Bake for 20-22 minutes. The muffins are done with you insert a toothpick into the center and it comes out clean, or with a dry crumb on it. If you poke into a chocolate chip, just try another spot. Allow to cool fully before eating.
