Homemade einkorn pizza dough is easy to make with 5 simple ingredients! With just 1 hour of rest time, your homemade pizza dough won’t take all day to make. Plus, very minimal kneading is involved. This delicious pizza crust is just what your next pizza night needs!
In a large bowl combine the einkorn flour, active dry yeast, and sea salt. Add the extra virgin olive oil, kefir, and warm water. Stir until the dough starts to turn into a rough ball. Knead on your work surface for 1 minute rolling into a ball. Place in an oil bowl and roll the ball around until it is coated with oil. Cover with plastic wrap or a slightly wet towel and allow the dough to sit for 1 hour in a warm place.
Right away, while the dough is resting, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. While the oven preheats, place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven to heat up. After 1 hour, cut the dough in half. Use a rolling pin to roll the half out into a 10″ circle on parchment paper. Roll out the other half as well.
To make the pizzas, spread your pizza sauce on top of the dough, and add toppings of your choice.
Bake the pizzas (on parchment paper) for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through, your cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
