Healthy Earth Day Waffles (High Protein + Naturally Colored)

Celebrate Earth Day with these vibrant green and blue waffles! Naturally colored, high in protein, and made in a waffle iron for crispy edges and fluffy centers. A fun and nourishing breakfast idea the whole family will love!

  • Prep your waffle batter. Split the batter in half into two separate bowls.
  • In one bowl, mix in matcha powder until you get a vibrant green color. In the second bowl, mix in butterfly pea flower powder to create a bright blue batter.
  • Preheat your waffle iron and oil it.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of batter at a time, alternating between green and blue to create a swirl pattern. Repeat until the waffle iron is full.
  • Cook until the waffles are golden and crisp. Repeat with the remaining batter.
