Homemade Chicken, Bacon, and Egg Caesar Salad Recipe

By Heather
Let’s level up Caesar salad with this delicious 6 ingredient chicken, bacon, and egg caesar salad! it’s high in protein thanks to the smoky Traeger chicken, hardboiled eggs, bacon bits, and a tangy homemade Caesar dressing with a base of Greek yogurt. The flavors are everything you want in a classic Caesar salad but made better with chicken, bacon, and eggs! To keep it gluten-free, we’re skipping the crunchy croutons and opting for crunchy bacon!

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, or 2 smaller heads
  • 1.5 lb cooked chicken breast, my easy Traeger chicken breasts recipe is perfect for this one!
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and chopped
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup homemade high protein Caesar salad dressing

Instructions

  • Start by preparing each ingredient – slice the eggs (I love my handy egg slicer!), chop the crunchy romaine lettuces, dice the chicken into small pieces, chop the bacon, and prepare the creamy Caesar dressing.
  • Add the lettuce, chicken, eggs, chopped bacon, and parmesan cheese to a large bowl along with the tangy Caesar dressing. Toss to fully combine and then serve with extra parmesan cheese. Feel free to add in homemade croutons if you’d like to!

Notes

If you need to quickly cook some chicken for this recipe, slice the chicken in half horizontally to make thinner chicken breasts, season both sides of chicken breasts with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and then sear in a medium heat skillet with olive oil or avocado oil until cooked through.
