One year ago, you were born on this day. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by. We anticipated your arrival for 9 months, thinking, hoping and wondering about you. Every day since you arrived has been a blessing. God really did bless us with such a sweet boy. You give us hugs, which is pretty much the sweetest thing ever. You don’t really like to cuddle like you used to, but it’s because you’re growing up into such a big boy.
There is never a dull moment when you’re around. I love watching you grow and learn. It’s exciting, but then sad at the same time. I feel like in a blink of an eye you’ll be all grown up. Right now mom is the coolest person you know (other than dad), and I don’t want that to change. I hope you always like giving me hugs and that when you get hurt or sad, I can help make it better.
You make the funniest expressions. You love food (just like me). You melt my heart every time you say baby, bye-bye and hi. You have cute chubby feet. You like to get your way. You are smart. You love your animals. You want to explore the world. You are the cutest kid ever and we are so lucky to call ourselves your parents.
