Welcome to Sunday!

Always a very exciting and productive day for me.  Well usually productive 🙂

On the agenda…

  • grocery shop
  • test a roll recipe for thanksgiving
  • go for a run
  • prep meals
  • bake a GF blueberry vanilla crumb cake (and hopefully with my sis in law + nephew!)
  • tape my Tuesday Trainer video
  • fold laundry while watching glee… I take about 2 hours to fold laundry 🙂
  • update recipe page???

What’s on your agenda for the day?  I hope some fun stuff.

Last week I posted five steps to find motivation along with a list of things I needed to just get done.

Let’s see how I did…

  • Make cleaner (it’s super easy) and clean the toilets + tubs

Ummm well half of it got done.  Jacob cleans the toilets last weekend then again this weekend.  Score me!  I still have yet to clean the tubs but ya know what, I’m going to do it today before I shower.  There I said it, now let’s see if I actually do it.

  • Organize my desk

Done! But again, Jacob did it.  Since we picked up a new mac for me last weekend he was so excited to get it set up that he cleaned my desk.  Mainly he can’t stand my messiness so it was done more for him than me.

  • Put my laundry away (both just folded + clothes laying around)

Done and done by ME!  The room that will be the baby’s room is currently my closet room + workout room.  We’ve started cleaning it out and getting it organized.  Once we have made a little more progress I’ll share some pictures. I took some before pictures… they will be embarrassing for sure.

  • Clean out my car (the garbage + junk)

Done!  But guess by who…. yeah Jacob.  Seriously, what would I do without that guy?  I guess I’ve learned that if I ignore things long enough he’ll just do them.  Mmmm I like this… less cleaning for me?

  • Update my recipe page + create a pregnancy page

Half done.  Pregnancy page win, recipe page fail.  I think it just seems like a huge project.  Over time my recipe page has just grown and grown and it really does need an update with better categorization.  I just need to get started and do it.

  • Write for the examiner

I sure did.  Check out my no excuses, 10 minute workout.  I’m a sucker for quick and effective workouts.

Since I seem to be very list happy today, how about a list of my meals for the week?  They’re always subject to change as the week goes on, but no extra grocery shopping is allowed after today’s trip.

And while we’re not eating these again this week, you can expect to see them tomorrow!  Twice baked potatoes to die for… you’ll want to come back for that!

Hope your Sunday is treating you well!  Any lists you’d like to share?

    Hey there neice!

I love Sundays, too, but for a totally different reason! It is a day I kick back and rest! We need 1 day a week for that! I start off with a good breakfast with my best friend, love of my life and husband of 34 years. Then we walk to church and spend the morning singing, receiving good “Spiritual food” and encouragement as well as challenge. Then we walk home and have a very simple laid back lunch. Sunday afternoon naps are THE BEST!!! We go back to church at night and enjoy more fellowship with great people. It helps set the tone for my week!

Saturdays are a change of schedule too, but they are productive days for me!

Your Sunday sounds amazing Ruth! I can’t wait for the day when Jacob doesn’t work on Sunday and I get to spend the day with him. I’m sure my productivity will go down, but time with him is way more important.

Usually I am productive over the weekend but this weekend I was lazy. I got nothing done on my list…oh well!

Watching TV while folding laundry this is what I do everyday 🙂

I’m a total list maker and seriously have like ten going at a time. I swear I just like crossing things off when I’ve accomplished them! Last week I made a list of what I watned to get done (projects) and can’t wait to look at it tomorrow and see how good I’ve done!

You are my hero!!! You got so much done!
I will say that I have had a pretty productive Sunday…starting with a 6 mile run, cleaning the kitchen (which was a huge mess) and lots of laundry!
Have a great rest of your Sunday! 🙂
