Little did you know, but behind the scenes (aka at my house), I’ve been working away at my little big challenge.

It’s little and big. Little bits of work each day, big payoff at the end.

Do you remember my initial 60 day neat home challenge post? If not, go and check it out and feel free to join too!

I’m 16 days in now, let’s see what my progress is like.

I found it helpful to write down which day of the week the number corresponded to. It definitely helped keep me on track.

In addition to crossing them off as I go, I’ve been writing down how long the actual task takes me. So far I’ve spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on my challenge. Now let’s see what it all looks like!

I only have one before picture of my tea cabinet.

I big mess huh?

You  won’t really be able to see what all the other before pictures looked like, but the ones that needed to be dusted or cleaned, needed to be dusted or cleaned. Trust me on that one.

60 day neat home challenge update 1

The breakdown:

1 – dust tower

2 – organize teas

3 – organize med storage, upstairs

4 – clean/organize under sink area

5 – soak/clean stove burner pans

6 – dust tv console

7 – wipe down office floor molding

8 – make cleaner labels

11 – organize freezer

12 – wipe down big living room window ledges

13 – clean silverware drawer

16 – remove heater grates and clean (there was so much dust in them!)

As you can see I’m a little behind on a few. I do plan to make them up, so hopefully with the next update all will be crossed off.

My BabyBump app is telling me I have 56 more days to go until Hunter gets here. Glad I started this when I did!

Have you taken on the 60 day neat home challenge? If so, send me a link to your updates and I’ll add them to the post!

Any inspirational spring cleaning you’ve done?

One thing I want to get done but have not added to my list yet is clean the dishwasher. For something that cleans dishes, it’s not looking very fresh itself.

Happy Thursday!
