Reduce Plastic Packaging in the Kitchen with Meghan Telpner - #129 Fit Mama Real Food Radio

I’m a huge advocate for cooking at home. Making foods from scratch can help to reduce the plastic products we bring into our home. This can be as simple as making your own seasoning mix, or a little more involved like making your own yogurt. Every little effort makes an impact! Find what works within your family.

After the interview I felt inspired to do better and began making my own almond milk. It’s been way more simple than I ever imagined it would be and it’s just one way I’ve been reducing our own plastic usage. I’ll be making a video soon and sharing the recipe in case you feel inspired to do that same.
