Crazy strong core workout (video!)

How is your core strength?  Pretty strong I hope!

Want to strengthen it up a little more?  Then try this workout.  It’s fast, effective and will help you strengthen your entire core.

Your core isn’t just abs.  Nope, it’s your whole mid section.

I find that while sitting all day long it’s really important to maintain a strong core.  It helps maintain better posture and eases back pain.

Crazy strong core workout breakdown

  • 20 seconds in low plank – on elbows and feet
  • 8 plank press ups
  • 20 seconds high plank – on hands and feet
  • 8 plank knee taps
  • 8 breast strokes
  • 6 back extension sets
  • 4 donkey kick with knee in sets (left leg)
  • 4 donkey kick with knee in sets (right leg)

Try going through this workout 2-3 times for maximum core strengthening.  You’ll love it!

In group certification news… I’m a couple days behind in my studies.  The first section had so much reading.  Luckily the second section is much shorter and is focused on nutrition.  I took an entire class on nutrition for fitness, so it’ll be easier to grasp the concepts.
