Good morning! Thanks for all the congrats on the new site yesterday. I’m still so excited about the change, the new look and to have something fresh. I have a lot things planned for the future on here, but most won’t be revealed until after baby time. I’ve got to leave you in suspense, right?!
To start off new here at Fit Mama Real Food, I’ve got a great giveaway. But before I can tell you what you’ll win (that’s the fun part right?), I’ll tell you why you will love it.
A short while back I was honored (yes honored) to receive a handful sports bra to review. I’d heard about this bra from a friend and already knew I’d be interested in them. Why? They’re padded sports bra. I was never blessed with a full front, and most sports bras do nothing good for me there. Pregnancy has given me a little more umph, but not much.
The handful bra comes with padded inserts, that really do flatter, not flatten (totally stole from their site)! Don’t believe me? The proof is in the picture….
Surprise baby bump shot!
I have a confession to make. I totally wear this as a normal bra all the time. It’s so-so-so comfortable and while pregnancy gave me a little more boob-age, it’s not like I’m falling out of my cups or anything like that. But, my band size did increase and I’m too cheap to go buy a new bra. I’ll just wait until they really fill in.
Is it weird that I wear it as a bra? I don’t think so. Padding is my friend and another great thing about it not being a thin fabric is no nipples showing. It’s the truth, totally happens in normal sports bras.
If you can’t tell, I’m super hooked on this sports bra, and even the company. When mine came in the mail, one pad seemed a little lumpy. I emailed to ask if that was normal, which it wasn’t, and they sent me a new set of uber smooth pads right away. I’m practically in their backyard so it got to my house in a day or two. Loved the service.
Recently handful made a video to show “what you can do in a handful?” A whole lotta stuff! It’s sort of long, but a fun video.
They also partner with survivors as an approved Mastectomy Bra. Very cool.
So now you totally want to win your own handful right? You can!!
One winner will receive a handful sports bra of their choice in nude, cocoa, pink, white or black.

Aaaannnddddd if you just can’t wait, they are closing out their nude, pink and cocoa colors, so instead of $40, they are $28. When I found out they were out of pink medium, cocoa medium, cocoa small and nude small, I hurried and ordered a pink one on Monday and got it in the mail yesterday!
Good luck and happy Wednesday!
Heather

I usually wear sports bras from Gap Body – comfortable, good support and a reasonable price!
I love my Nike sports bra, but this one would be great!

i use champion quite a bit bc im cheap hah but lululemon has some good bras…just pricey which is a damn shame.
now that my boobs are getting bigger..i find myself wearing sports bras all the time!
They are cheap and come from Wal-Mart but I really like the Danskin bras. They are comfy, supportive without smashing you down and pretty 🙂
p.s. padded underwires are a thing of the past for me. I wear a handful everyday. Far more natural shape. No more torpedoes!
Love the handful and I’m due for new ones!
