As I end my first trimester, I have a lot to be thankful for. And what a great day to give thanks.

I’m thankful for a relatively easy first trimester. While tons of women suffer from horrible morning sickness, I only had to deal with nausea. Nausea is no fun, but it could have been much worse and ended up only lasting about a month for me.

I’m thankful for being able to stay active and working. I have yet to miss a day of work, and only had to get a sub for my class once when I was feeling particularly nauseous.

I’m thankful that God provides.  Over the past 6 months we have been able to both pay off a lot of our debt and pump up our savings. It would be tricky if we weren’t both on the same more saving/less spending page, but God made a switch in both of us and put us on the right path. It is tough, but we already feel rewarded.

I’m thankful we were blessed with a healthy growing baby.  I’ve always wanted to be a mom, and feel so lucky that in 6 short months I will be.

I’m thankful to have family close by. Getting to spend time with loved ones makes me smile, and I’m happy today kick off the holiday season with them today and tomorrow.

I’m thankful for all my readers. Without all of you, I’d just be a crazy lady talking to herself. I look forward to reading each and every comment I receive. They really to make me jump with joy.

Most of all I’m thankful for my wonderful husband. He picks up my slack like nobodies business. When I’m too tired to clean (basically always), he covers for me. When I want to go to bed at 8pm, he goes with me. When I’m overly emotional, he comforts me.  He’s my best friend and I look forward to every minute I get to spend with him.
