The Leg Attack Workout {Video}

I can’t say I slept the best last night.  Matter of fact, I can’t say I’ve been sleeping so well all week.

First I just thought I was me just staying up a bit later, which could be possible, but then I figured out the culprit.  One of two culprits that it.

These brownies!

Normally I don’t eat much chocolate or dessert later in the evening.  Since I made them just about every night I’ve been munching on those peanut butter trail mix brownies.

I tend to be pretty sensitive to caffeine if I have it later in the day and, well chocolate has caffeine in it!

Today I’m taking a little square as an after lunch treat and probably popping the rest in the freezer to crumble on banana soft serve, oats and PB banana spent grain granola with soy milk (it’s a really good idea!).

The other culprit?  It’s been getting hotter here… we may break 90 this weekend!  Haha, yeah I know that’s nothing to a lot of you across the country, but with mild temperatures all summer so far the 90 degree heat will be something.  This makes our room a bit warmer to sleep in, which isn’t my favorite.

So, tonight I’m going to sleep well by doing 2 things.

Exercise always, always, always helps me sleep, especially if it’s a tough workout.

Speaking of workouts, I’ve got a new one for you today!  We’re hitting legs today and we’re hitting them hard.

Both Ashley and Katie requested more legs, so here you go ladies!

After you try this workout once using no weights, try it with weight next for major leg burn (in a good way Winking smile)!  Or use weight the first time too!

Same here. Being able to do legs anywhere without machines is big plus for me 🙂

Now that i rarely have caffeine, even the amount in chocolate totally keeps me up! Hope tonight means better sleep for you!

Oh I love the squats with kicks. I typically do those with weights and man oh man do they burn 😉
