I realized I just couldn’t tell you about my cinnamon raisin peanut butter without sharing it. I mean, it’s pretty amazing.
The raisins are so much fun to bite into. The longer you puree once you add the raisins in the smaller they will be. Pulse to your hearts content. I rarely add sweetener to my nut butters and once again I didn’t with this one. It wasn’t even needed.
I’ve really enjoyed this on bananas, oatmeal, bread, apple slices and via large spoon.
I never go wrong with peanut butter, plus it’s so simple to make at home. All you need is a food processor and presto you’ve got PB!
Now head to your kitchen and make some of this. I can assure you’ll be very happy you did.
Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter
Ingredients
- 3 cups of dry roasted peanuts
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (doesn’t have to be melted)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/3 cup raisins
Directions
- Add the peanuts to a food processor and run until peanuts turn into butter. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Once smooth add in the coconut oil, cinnamon, vanilla and sea salt. After being combined add in the raisins. Pulse just a few times or for 1-2 minutes, depending on how pureed you want your raisins to be.

My husband fails to understand why anyone would want to make nut butter at home. I fail to understand why anyone would NOT want to make nut butter at home. I am furiously using ours up so I can have a crack at it! 🙂
It’s so easy, but my husband hates when I make it at home because the food processor is so noisy.
I love your idea of adding raisins to your peanut butter! I thought about making nut butter variationg like that myself, but I haven’t thought about peanuts yet. 🙂
I find peanuts the easiest nut to start making nut butters with at home because it’s so quick to come together.
I imagine smearing this on some cinnamon raisin bread- that would be AMAZING! I love that you ground the raisins into the nut butter. Perfection!
Oh that would be heavenly 🙂
Cinna raisin swirl is my favorite. I must try to make this!!!
