I hope day 1 went smoothly and you enjoyed the 7 minutes of sun salutations. Some mornings when I want to move and not use very much brain power, I simply do 5-10 sun salutations and feel so much more awake!
Day 2 brings a leg workout, one of our families favorite recipes and a chance for you to think about your why behind creating healthy habits.

Healthy Real Food Recipe
Eggs are a favorite protein staple in our house, and these 3 ingredient cheddar broccoli egg muffins are always a hit! They are so simple to make, even my kiddos put them together (which is a mom win right there).
Here’s your healthy recipe to try – 3 ingredient cheddar broccoli egg muffins
Make these for a simple breakfast paired with fruit or avocado toast. Or have them handy for a quick on the go snack! However you enjoy them, know that egg muffins are the perfect make in advance recipe!

Write down your why. Knowing the why behind wanting to make change can be so helpful in sticking with our goals.
Because when we know our why, and not just a surface level why, but a deep rooted why, we are more connected to our goal.
How do we get to that deep rooted why? Keep digging.
Start by asking yourself why you want to make new healthy habits. Then once you have that answer, ask yourself why again. And then ask yourself why again. And then ask yourself why yet again.
When you keep digging deeper, the deep rooted why comes through.
Here is your mindfulness exercise for today: write down your why (keep digging until you get to your deep rooted why)
