food and fitness week 4

by Heather

Good afternoon!  How’s your day treating you so far?  I’m hoping well for a Monday!

We had another chill weekend.  I’m totally soaking these in before I become sleep deprived and waaaay to attached to my bed.  Saturday morning Hunter and I did some painting.

I’m working on chalkboard lids for my mason jars, which are just about finished.  Hunter did some water color painting, until he dumped the bowl of water.  And lots of block building happened too.

We also went down to a little beach before heading to our friend’s house for dinner.  The wind was SOOO cold.  I had about 5-6 layers on and still didn’t feel warm enough.  Poor Hunter’s hands felt like ice, but we all had fun!

Then dinner and kiddo play time.  We tried to get a picture of Hunter + I and Megan + Mabel, but Hunter was not having it, so this is the best one I got.  My crazy face.

Sunday church, then I spent lots of time in the kitchen!  Here’s a look at some things I made.  The kitchen was a disaster!  Crockpot yogurt (recipe coming this week!, PB chocolate chip buckwheat oatmeal bars, creamy chicken enchiladas and whole wheat tortillas.

Sunday actually ended up being quite productive, but still relaxing since it wasn’t things that needed to be done, just stuff I wanted to do.

kid's clothes week

Kids Clothes Week began today and I already knocked out 2 pairs of pants for baby girl before Hunter woke.  I’ll share a recap of everything I end up making once the week is over.

If you’re curious, here’s a look back at what I planned for my first KCW and what I actually sewed.

Okay, onto the food and fitness for last week!

And a look at fitness for last week:

Monday – body pump

Tuesday – rest

Wednesday – body combat

Thursday – body pump + sculpt and tone

Friday –  fitness yoga

Saturday – beach walk with my little family

Sunday – rest

I taught two less classes this week (yoga and body pump) but still, at 36 weeks pregnant, every class is kicking my butt now.  I’m pretty much planning to sub out at least 1 class a week these next few weeks.  Just trying to give myself a bit more rest so I’m not totally beat.  Just about 3 more weeks of teaching to go!

My food and fitness posts are mostly turning into weekend recaps… which I’m loving. 🙂  Hope you are too!

Tell me about your weekend!  What was your favorite food… activity… workout… maybe something you watched??  Sharing is caring.
