My brain is feeling very random, so expect a post full of randomness today. It IS Friday after all!
HUNTER is getting big. Look at that Chinese cabbage! A little more about where’s he’s at:
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. He’s also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. — from babycenter
Why does babycenter usually refer to the baby as a she? I had to go through and change everything to a boy!
Those Braxton hicks contractions I talked about a couple days ago? Still happening, but not as constant now. During the first couple days I only noticed them only in the afternoon. Now I get them in the morning and a bit in the evening. No more discriminating with time of day I guess. 🙂
I’m really tired still. Seriously, once 1pm hits I feel like a zombie. Must just be all that baby growing going on since my numbers came back good last week.
I walked Joe again 3 times this week in the morning (my goal!!!) + a longer walk with Jacob too over the weekend! What else? Taught 2 cycle classes, ran once (2.3 miles), taught one body pump class and heading to a full body strength training class this morning. I really want to make it to the pool sometime. I’ve even seen a pre/post natal aqua class listed on the schedule I want to try out, just need to find a way to make the timing work.
Then I have to see if I’ll even fit in any suits I have…
While I do feel like a zombie every day, exercise definitely gives me a little more pep in my step. Sweat energy out = more energy in!
Favorite foods this week: overnight oats (as an afternoon snack), hard boiled eggs, custard oats, steak (mmmmmm) and mango + spinach salads, lamb meatloaf, strawberries, pb chocolate chip protein balls and lemon poppyseed muffins. A lot of no bake cookies made their way into my belly, but they shouldn’t be classified in my favorites… although they’re pretty dang tasty, I really only ate them because they were starting right at me. And they taste good. And because they’re chocolate and peanut butter. Yeah.
The nursery mural is all done being painted! Last night Jacob + his dad textured the wall that had the hole in it, now my mom just needs to paint. Once the final wall is painted I’ll share pictures. It looks really, really good. And I’m not just saying that because I’m biased, you’ll see for yourself soon. 😉
Jacob still gives me a back massage almost every night. I don’t know why but my right side is crazy knotty.
I keep hearing about more and more people being due in May. Must be a good month to have a baby?
Hunter’s been sitting a lot of my left side. He presses his butt or head up against me all the time.
Mmmm my morning cup of coffee is still so good. Real cream, no sugar for me.
I’ve joined the pinning club. Follow me along because it’s awesome!
Our yard is out of control. Like a serious mess. Just sayin.
Can you tell that I’m writing to create a slant right now?
It’s really fun for me, so I’m going to keep doing it.
Tuesday we start our Bradley method classes.
I need to work on lowering our grocery bill.
Costco trips are starting to suck me dry.
Today I am 29 weeks, 2 days pregnant.
I’ve gained a total of 26.5 pounds.
We have just 76 days to go!
I really like these balls.
The end.
Bye!
Tell me your favorite food of the week, and if you have a yard, how do you keep it under control? Weeds are the worst.
Heather

My sister is due next month. It is unfortunate that our family won’t be there on the day of delivery. She and her husband decided to have the baby at Denmark, her husband’s hometown. You look really great by the way. I can relate to the excitement.
Bummer! But very excited for your sister and your entire family. Hope everything goes well with her!
I love reading these updates, I feel like I’m living your pregnancy through you, watching you grow. Let’s just home I don’t get sympathy pains once its due day!
This week, I’ve have bee eating my way through avocado toasties and just about cried when I realized I’d used up all the avocado I had 🙁
Mmmmm avocado is addicting! Just made my first batch of chocolate avocado pudding. It’s SOOOO hard to stop eating it!

My sister in law is due in late April/ early May (terrible, I cannot remember), too. She had her other kid on May 1. Must be a good time!
She must love May babies!
We moved into a new place last summer and we have a back patio that’s pretty out of control. I kept saying it was too hot over the summer, then I decided I might as well wait until after winter to do anything with it. We have had an extremely mild winter and several Spring-like days already and I still haven’t gotten out there, ha ha. It’s a mess!
Haha I hear ya… we’ve always got an excuse as to why to put it off!
