Every year we head to Seaside on the Oregon Coast with Jacob’s family. Time flies WAY to quickly and believe it or not (I choose to not), now I’m back again.
We set up camp in the workout/game room with an air mattress. Night #1 not so good on it (needed more air). Night #2 was great (fully inflated + an extra mats on top). Night #3 we got a bed inside. SCORE!
We did a lot of eating….
Inside and outside…
A lot of laughing…
Some shop browsing…
Beach walking + wave hopping (first time it’s been nice enough for me to get in the water!!)…
Trampoline jumping, pool playing and ping ponging…
Outlet shopping…
Time with cousins…
A little hot rod looking (there was a big weekend car show going on after all), reading, relaxing and one morning of running.
I call it Death by Paul (as in my cousin Paul who told me about this sprint workout).
Here’s the plan…
- 30 seconds all out (max-110%-everything you got-leave nothing behind)
- 3 minutes of recovery (jog/walk)
- Until you die (or can’t go anymore)
We did 5 rounds. Oh my gosh what a workout! Those 3 minutes were definitely needed.
We didn’t really die so that was good.
Went through my favorite post-run stretches then it was packing up + heading out time.
Now we’re back to Monday workday.
How was your weekend?
Heather
PS: A sneak peek to something else I did over the weekend…
