Last night we ventured out to Babies R Us for the first time.

Wow, this place sure was intense! Up until now we’ve only stopped in the baby section of target and looked through the few aisles of baby gear.

Babies R Us was a whole new beast. Did you know they have like 30 different strollers and car seats to choose from?

I have a hard enough time picking what to order at a restaurant, how do I pick from a zillion strollers?

We looked at bedding…

And cribs…

And I was bit disappointed they had no black cribs to choose from. There were tons of dark brown and espresso woods, but nothing black. We have black furniture throughout the house, and I want to continue with that… the search will continue.

One thing Jacob’s not questioning is the baby bjorn.

He’s set on having one, so one decision has been made! I’m set on having a couple slings to carry the little one in. Unfortunately, they had none to look at there. Any great ones I should check out online?

They did have a ton of cute baby clothes! We’ve held off on picking up any clothes until we know the sex, but we’ll probably pick up a cute bear outfit before then. They’re just so cute and cuddly! Plus great for baby boys AND girls.

I’m sure we’ll make many more trips there… we’ve just barely got our first taste of all the baby gear and gadgets that are out there.

Fun! I am sure it can be overwhelming since there is so much stuff to choose from!!
I wouldn’t even know where to start.

I can weigh on on the stroller. My twins group always recommends parents get a snap and go and then after they have the baby to look for stroller when the baby is older. I would say that this is pretty good advice for parent even only having one baby. I loved my snap and go with my older son. I probably didn’t use it as much because I was on bed rest with my twins when he was 7 months old, but it was useful and will give you time to look at the kind of stroller you want for the long hall.

Thanks for the advice!! Is the snap and go the kind that’s a car seat that snaps into your stroller?

That store scares me…I get freaked out every time we go in there haha. The bjorn is a LIFE saver. You also need a boppy newborn napper- trust me- its awesome- Kaylin loves to sleep on it.

We looked around for a boppy and I didn’t see them there… But I probably just missed it. That’s something I’ll be sure to get!

That store IS intimidating!! Just take it one aisle at a time. 😉
My favorite sling is the Moby Wrap! You can find them online!

I saw the moby wrap when I was there. I’ll have to check it out!
