Intuitive eating is a journey. And every persons journey is unique and truly their own.

I think we can learn a lot by tuning in and listening to other people’s unique stories. That’s just what we get to do today! I had the pleasure of talking with Kristin Dovbniak of the website Healthy Mama Kris for this week’s podcast episode!

More on intuitive eating

If you love learning about intuitive eating, be sure to check out an old (but good!) episode of Fit Mama Real Food Radio.

Episode #6: Macro Tracking versus Intuitive Eating

In the episode I break down the difference between macro tracking and intuitive eating. I also share which category I fall into, and even though the episode is almost 2 years old now, it very much rings true. (shhhh I’ll tell you here – I am an intuitive eater)

Intuitive Eating with Kristin Dovbniak

In episode 102 of Fit Mama Real Food Radio Kristin Dovbniak openly shares about her journey that brought her to intuitive eating. From obsessing about food and body size, to finding her own unique food freedom. During her journey Kristin also became a certified intuitive eating counselor. We chat about what that was like, and also what it looks for clients working with an intuitive eating counselor. This episode is full of words of wisdom, along with insights into common hurdles that her clients face when entering into their intuitive eating journey and how to walk through them and find intuitive eating on the other end.
