Welcome to day 5!
Happy day 5! If you’ve been following along during the first week of this 7 day reset going live, then I hope your first week in 2020 is off to a great start!
We’re back home from our end of the holidays beach vacation. My fridge is restocked with groceries (it was so bare!), which always makes healthy food choices much easier. I spend time meal planning on our drive back and included today’s buffalo chicken salad recipe in the mix. It’s so good!

There is something about a big salad that always leaves me feeling energized, and this buffalo chicken salad is no different! It’s protein packed, and super flavored filled.
Here’s your healthy recipe to try – Buffalo Chicken Salad
Buffalo chicken salad has all the amazing buffalo wing flavors going on, but veggified into salad form! Add this recipe to your weekly meal plan and you will be loving every bite with the buffalo ranch dressing!
Here’s what you’ll need for your buffalo chicken salad:
- chicken breasts
- avocado oil
- lettuce
- celery
- carrots
- grape tomatoes
- green onions
- blue cheese crumbles
- kefir ranch dressing
- buffalo sauce

Mindfulness exercise
Here is your mindfulness exercise for today: write down your why
Do you ever take a moment in the morning to set an intention for the day? That is your assignment for today. Find a quiet moment first thing in the morning (if you can!), and take 1 minute to set an intention your day.
What can that look like?
Setting the intention to eat healthy foods.
Setting the intention to be calm in challenges.
Setting the intention to show more kindness even when it feels hard.
Setting the intention to speak positivity into your own mind.
It can be whatever you want it to be in that moment, but whatever you choose it to be, repeat it all throughout the day.
