How are your workouts going friend? I’m so excited to share this 15 minute full body strength building dumbbell workout! We’ll be getting so much work in in just a short amount of time by targeting the upper and lower body together. More bang for your buck! All you need is a pair of medium dumbbells, a yoga mat and 15 minutes for YOU!
I’m settling into a pretty good home workout routine. I, like many of you, are staying home, and gyms might be closed. Ours is for at least another month, but it could be longer. I miss teaching in person so much! I’m so thankful I get the opportunity to teach virtually and that you join me!
Tuning in to an intuitive fitness routine
I shared recently on my Instagram page, that I’m being really intuitive with my movement. I’m not super structured, but I know each week I want to lift weights and do yoga a couple of times each a week. They both leave me feeling amazing and balance each other so well in a fitness routine!
I may also throw in a run, HIIT workout, body combat and walking. Every day walking for sure.
Here’s a glimpse into what my schedule has been like lately while we’re all home until further notice.
Wake up and most mornings I’ll start right away with a 5-10 minute yoga flow (this 10 minute morning practice is similar to what I’ll do!). I will then go on a quick walk once the kids are down for naps after lunch. During naps I’ll get dinner made and around 4pm I’ll take time to intentionally workout (and have a break). The movement varies day to day, but I move in one way or another. If I’m needing rest, some super gentle and stretchy yoga is just right. Other days I push harder with a tabata workout!
