This year has FLOWN by! I just can’t believe (like many of you I’m sure) that tomorrow marks the start of a fresh new year. We have so much to look forward to, including of course, our little girl in February. I’m excited that starting tomorrow, when people ask me when I’m due, I can tell them next month. Whoa. Before I look too far into the future, let’s take a look in the past.
I love having a blog and how it documents so much of my life, especially capturing Hunter as he grows. I had fun browsing through these past 12 months and picking out a favorite post for each month. I tried to choose a variety… so that not everything was just Hunter. 🙂 I hope you enjoy revisiting them as much as I have!

My go to recipe anytime I need enchilada sauce! Freezes beautifully and tastes amazing.

March
One of my all time favorite posts.
April
For all the peanut sauce lovers out there. Myself included.

Hunter’s 1st birthday party: vintage newspaper theme
Seems like so long ago now and Hunter’s already changed so much from that fun day.

baby’s first smash cake {healthy no sugar banana cake}
Still to this day, continues to be one of the most viewed and commented on posts. I actually picked up extra brown bananas at the store today to make this as a snack bread (without the frosting).
July

Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day.
August
Q & A right after announcing our next addition to the family.
September
first annual libby family canning weekend
Such a fun new family tradition I cannot wait to do again next September!
October
Seriously, so much cuteness in one post.
November
five healthier, kid-friendly cookie recipes
Great cookie ideas for kids and adults alike!
December
toddler activities: fingerprint christmas tree gift tags
Cute and so fun to make with your kiddo!

There it is, a look into my favorites in 2013. I had a hard time only choosing one, but I managed to decide. We’ve had a great year and I’m looking forward to another one come 2014!
Are you doing anything fun tonight for New Years Eve?
Heather
PS: thanks for all your sweet comments on my DIYed Christmas. I loved them all!

Do you think you’ll be able to re-start uploading workout videos on YouTube later in this new year?
