Well, well, well, this was not the year of me being super on it with Christmas gift shopping. I am still not done and I don’t even know why I’m waiting so long – I pretty much just use amazon for most things! Haha. At least I can laugh at myself. I’m really close though and thankfully we actually get extra time since our celebration with my side of the family always falls on the weekend after Christmas – bonus gift buying time for those last minute gifts!
We’ve been getting into the Christmas spirit pretty much once Thanksgiving past with tree getting + putting up decorations and lights, matching Christmas PJS (!!), Christmas movies with the kiddos (Elf, The Santa Claus, Jack Frost, and sooooo many kid cartoon Christmas movies), driving around and looking at Christmas lights plus one family Christmas get together is already in the books. The kids have been loving and it’s just been so much fun together. I am SO looking forward to the nutcracker this upcoming weekend, making sugar and spice houses (my version of gingerbread houses), die hard one evening (Jacob’s fav Christmas movie) and then all the time together seeing family, playing games, being with my kiddos and hubby and enjoying good food!
Last minute gift ideas
Let’s circle back around to gift giving. Maybe you’re done Christmas shopping and super on it. Go you! Or maybe you’re a little more of a procrastinator like me this year and need some gift inspiration for those last minute gift ideas. Things you could share with a host, neighbor you really like, or a family member you just want to gift something to to say, you are great and I was thinking of you. These are all things I love myself, or would love to receive. I hope they help you if you’re searching for a last minute gift!
