If a pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad had a baby, it would be this crispy, cheesy, and crunchy wrap pizza. Two personal tortilla “pizzas” get baked until melty, then hug a romaine Caesar for a handheld lunch that tastes like takeout but sneaks in greens and protein. It’s fast (ready in under 15 minutes!), lunchbox-friendly, and totally customizable for picky eaters.

Easy Pepperoni Pizza Caesar Salad Tortilla Wrap

When I saw the viral pepperoni pizza Caesar wrap going around, I knew I had to try it. I love all things pizza flavor (hello cauliflower pizza muffins and pizza stuffed peppers!), and am obsessed with Caesar (Caesar pizza, anyone?!) so it felt like a calling to make it.

If you’re a fan of those, too, you will love my high-protein version. It combines all the delicious flavors, but with a slight twist to boost the protein content up to 28 grams per wrap!

And it packs like a dream for lunchboxes: let the “pizzas” cool for a few minutes, add the salad, roll tightly, then wrap in parchment or foil so it stays put.

Toss in an ice pack and lunch is done – no soggy lettuce, no sad desk salad, just a fun, protein-packed wrap that holds up until you’re ready to eat.

Why you’ll love this pepperoni pizza wraps recipe

High-protein – Each serving lands around 28g protein thanks to mozzarella, turkey pepperoni, and a high-protein Caesar dressing – so you stay full long after lunch.

Weekday easy recipe – Minimal chopping, pantry staples, and a single baking sheet lined with parchment mean almost no cleanup. It scales up beautifully for meal prep or hungry teens & kids.

Simple ingredients you’ll need

Scroll down to view the full recipe card below for the full ingredients list, nutrition facts, and step-by-step instructions.

  • Flour tortillas (8–10″ – I used Tumaro’s) – Soft and easy to roll – you can use whole-wheat or gluten-free if needed.
  • Homemade pizza sauce – Store-bought sauce or marinara works too.
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – Part-skim for lighter, fresh mozz for extra gooey.
  • Turkey pepperoni – Regular pepperoni works – chop mini if you want more in each bite.
  • Romaine lettuce – A bagged Caesar salad mix works too.
  • High-protein Caesar salad dressing – Greek-yogurt or cottage-cheese based.
  • Grated Parmesan cheese – Optional but delicious.

Tip: Have fun extras like banana peppers, black olives, or red onion? Add a little to the salad for more zing.

How to make pepperoni pizza caesar wraps

Step 1: Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place tortillas on the sheet and spread pizza sauce over each. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni. Bake 8-9 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are lightly golden.

Step 2: While pizzas bake, add romaine, high-protein Caesar dressing, and Parmesan to a bowl. Toss until the leaves are well-coated.

Step 3: Remove pizzas from the oven. Pile half the dressed salad in the center of the tortilla. Repeat with the other. Roll the wrap up tightly like a burrito. Slice in half and enjoy with extra pizza sauce or Caesar for dipping if you like.

Storage & reheating

  • Make-ahead: Bake the tortilla pizzas up to 1 day in advance; store in an airtight container. Assemble with fresh Caesar just before eating.
  • Reheat: Warm the pizzas 2–3 minutes in a 375 degree F oven or air fryer, then build the wrap.

Substitutions, optional variations & dietary adjustments

Below you’ll find a list of substitutions that will work well in this pizza roll ups recipe.

If you try something different out, please leave a comment below letting us all know how it turned out!

Tortillas – Use whole-wheat, gluten-free, or high-protein tortillas. For lower carbs, choose a high-fiber wrap or a large low-carb tortilla. Corn tortillas tend to crack when rolled and aren’t the best for this recipe.

Pizza sauce – Marinara, tomato basil, or crushed tomatoes + a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Pesto works for a saucy twist.

Mozzarella – Any good melting cheese—provolone, Monterey Jack, part-skim string cheese (pulled/shredded), or dairy-free mozzarella shreds.

Turkey pepperoni – Regular pepperoni, mini pepperonis, turkey sausage crumbles, cooked chicken, or deli turkey slices are all great alternatives. For vegetarian, use plant-based pepperoni or skip and add more cheese/veggies.

Romaine – Any crunchy green—little gem, iceberg, shredded kale (massage with dressing), or a bagged Caesar kit.

High-protein Caesar dressing – Greek-yogurt Caesar, cottage-cheese Caesar, or lighten regular Caesar by mixing 50/50 with Greek yogurt. Dairy-free? Use a tahini or cashew Caesar.

Parmesan -You can substitute in Pecorino Romano, Asiago, or a dairy-free “Parm” sprinkle.
