Today I have a brand new 15 minute yoga tabata workout for you! One of the most effective ways to workout is HIIT training, and this yoga tabata incorporates high intensity interval training in a yoga style HIIT workout. You’re going to love this quick and effective class!
What is a tabata?
A tabata is a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT). The format goes like this: 20 seconds of hard work, followed by 10 seconds of recovery, 8 times through. This leaves you with just 4 minutes of work, but the work is INTENSE.

Now, what is a yoga tabata?
A yoga tabata takes the 4 minutes of work format, but uses yoga elements for the work portions. The movements bring lots of intensity to the workout, but instead of tradition cardio based movements, we’re using yoga movements!
